Specifically, this collar is meant for medium sized and large sized dogs. It does not come in sizes small enough to fit small dogs as the smallest size is 12 inches.

It uses a plastic buckle for a clasp. And seeing the buckle is a regular buckle, we don’t think you’ll have issues with working it.

We are not sure if this is really a downside but some have complained that the bow tie looks like it’s just for guys. Not many people see this as an issue but we had to put it out there.
Also, that plastic ring for ID tag doesn’t hold up for a long time. Even if you hang the lightest of things only, it will break off sooner than later.
