In fact, we still do not know much about the brand. What we do know, though, is that Nemobub carries a good number of products that are dog-related.
It looks to us like the bulk of its products are dog training collars; the regular kind and the bark control kind. However, it carries a few other stuff like car seat covers for dogs. That’s about all we can ascertain about the Nemobub brand so we’ll just go straight ahead to the product we are reviewing.
The Nemobub Bark Collar is a training collar that is used in teaching dogs to bark only when it is appropriate. We recommend you click here to read this exhaustive article on dog training collars. Consider it a refresher course as you dive into the very specific waters of our featured product today.
Without further ado, let’s get straight into this review.
Who Can Wear The Nemobub Dog Bark Collar?
First off, the Nemobub Dog Bark Collar is a very specific collar. It is a bark control collar and so shouldn’t obviously only be worn by dogs who have a barking issue.
Furthermore, the Nemobub Dog Bark Collar is generally a training collar and so should only be worn by dogs who are in the right health and are the right age. Really young and really old dogs are, therefore, excluded. Same goes for invalid dogs and pregnant and lactating mothers.
Also, this collar should not be used on really aggressive dogs. The shock modes will just make the dog even more aggressive.
Now that’s clear, Nemobub says the Nemobub Dog Bark Collar can be worn by dogs who weigh between 6 and 150 pounds. However, we are not sure about that minimum weight recommendation.
Features Of The Nemobub Dog Bark Collar
1. Collar Receiver
The collar receiver on a bark control collar is responsible for basically everything. First off, it is responsible for picking up the bark sounds that will now trigger the appropriate correction mode.
For picking up the ‘wrong behavior’, the Nemobub Dog Bark Collar features an intelligent barking vibration technology that ensures that the collar picks up barking vibrations and not necessarily bark sounds.
This way, there are reduced chances of the collar picking up sounds from other dogs or even people. However, there are increased chances of the collar picking up other actions (like loud yawning) that are not exactly bark sounds. Guess you’ll pick your evil, won’t you?
Furthermore, about the appropriate correction mode thing, the Nemobub Dog Bark Collar has 3 correction modes: beep, vibration, and shock.
Now here is how this Nemobub Bark Collar works. The first few times the wearer barks, the collar will beep, warning the wearer that he is crossing the line. If he continues, the collar will progressively go through the other correction modes until it gets to the 5th (which is the last) level of the shock correction.
At this point, whether or not the wearer is still barking, the collar will take a 30-second break and will only start up again if the wearer is still barking. However, at this point, we advise that you find out what is going on with your dog instead of leaving the collar to go another cycle.
2. Display Screen
The display screen gives you information like whether or not the shock mode is on, and the current shock sensitivity. Red signals that the shock option is on, while green signals that it’s off.
There’s also the blue light which is indicative of a low battery.
3. Probes And Probe Covers
Now there is a tiny pair of instruments that is necessary for the shock sensation to actually get to the skin of the wearer. And that is a pair of probes.
The Nemobub Dog Bark Collar comes with two pairs of stainless probes: one long pair and one short pair. This way, irrespective of how hairy your dog is, there should be a pair that will get to his skin without being off the mark or overkill.
Furthermore, for those uncomfortable with the thought of steel having direct contact with their dog’s skin, the Nemobub collar comes with 2 pairs of probe covers. The probe covers are conductive and so should not impede the static flow.
4. Collar Strap
The collar strap is kinda what ties everything together. It is made out of nylon and stitched with reflective thread, making it useful in dim places.
Furthermore, the collar strap is adjustable and can be adjusted to between 4 and 24 inches using the plastic tri-glide. A plastic buckle is there to be used as a clasp.
Now, this collar is meant to be waterproof (or in the case of the strap, water-safe). So, your dog should be able to wear this collar in the pool.
5. USB Cable
The Nemobub Dog Bark Collar is a rechargeable collar and so comes with its own USB cable for that purpose. You should be able to plug the cable to any device that has a USB port.
6. Training Manual
This collar comes with a training manual written in English which makes the collar easier to work with.
Is The Nemobub Dog Bark Collar User-Friendly?
We believe that the Nemobub Bark Collar is a pretty easy collar to use. There is nothing much to it and as far as you are able to put it on, the collar knows what to do.
However, we think it is a better idea that your veterinarian and or pet trainer be the one to recommend a collar for your dog in the first place. Or at least, they should be in the know when you set out to get one.
Pros Of The Nemobub Dog Bark Collar
1. You can turn off the shock option.
2. Comes with a display screen.

The TBI Pro Bark Collar actually costs way more than our featured collar. So, if you are on a budget, you shouldn’t consider this collar as an alternative at all.
Both products are similar though as they both come with display screens. Plus, you also have the option to turn off shock mode on both collars.
However, the TBI Pro Bark Collar comes with an extra collar strap. That should count for something, right? Check out this review for more information.
The Backguard Citronella Anti Bark Collar is neither a shock collar nor a no-shock collar. It makes use of citronella fluid that is automatically sprayed into your dog’s face by the collar when they bark.
