Who Can Wear The Pawtitas Padded Dog Collar?
This is a regular collar so, there are no restrictions as to who can or cannot wear it. If you can find something in your dog’s size, then it’s right. You’ll find the sizes below.
Features Of The Pawtitas Padded Dog Collar
1. Material
This collar is made of nylon and is folded over. According to Pawtitas, the idea behind folding the collar in is to give it an extra durable edge. And it actually does work as the collar is pretty strong.
Also, this collar is padded on the inside with neoprene which makes it pretty comfortable.
2. Design
First off, this collar is reflective. Now, unlike most other reflective collars that are stitched with reflective thread, the Pawtitas Padded Dog Collar has a reflective strip sewn on its surface.
Just so you know, the reflective strip is not made of the same material as the collar. It is made of 35% cotton and 65% polyester.
Moving on, this collar is designed in such a way that the buckle does not touch the neck of the wearer. This then makes this collar a good choice for dogs who usually get skin reactions where the buckle touches their skin.
This collar comes in 9 different colors. One of them is all black; neoprene padding and collar alike. While the others come in two different colors (neoprene adding and collar differently) each.
3. Clasp, Leash Ring And Tri Glide
This collar uses a plastic buckle for a clasp. Now there is a little twist with working this buckle.
It is a regular plastic buckle. However, to clasp it, you’ll have to pass the female buckle (that is, the part that receives) through the leash ring.
We think this is an attempt by Pawtitas to make the buckle more secure. Passing it through the leash ring before going ahead to clasp it could be that extra barrier your dog will have to face before breaking free.
The leash ring, on the other hand, is an O ring that is made of metal. It is securely sewn into the collar. Also, because you’ll have to pass the female buckle through it before clasping, there is an extra layer that serves to reduce the pressure that the leash ring is sure to take.
This collar has a metal tri glide for adjustments. You’ll have to make your adjustments before you secure this collar around your dog’s neck because the tri glide will be covered once you secure the buckle.
Is The Pawtitas Padded Dog Collar User Friendly?
It is a regular collar with regular attachments. The only thing that might be a problem is with setting up the buckle. And even that isn’t that complicated.
So yes, the Pawtitas Padded Dog Collar is user friendly.

1. Padded
We always like that a collar is padded because it gives an extra layer of comfort, thereby, making the collar one that can be worn regularly.
2. Durable
We also like that this collar is quite strong and durable. The material is strong and the stitching is well made and shouldn’t fall apart easily.
3. Options
This collar comes in a number of different options. For one, there is a wide range of sizes from extra extra-small to large. And it also comes in 9 different colors.
4. Reflective
Though we don’t exactly like that the reflective property on this collar is a sewn on strip, we appreciate the effort. It actually does the work it is put there to do, as long as it remains there.
Cons Of The Pawtitas Padded Dog Collar
Now here is something weird, the reflective strip does not go round the collar. It covers just about half of the collar while the other half is just plain not reflective collar. Why Pawtitas decided to this is something we find hard to grasp.

More Affordable Option
Pawtitas Reflective Dog Collar
If you are on a budget but still want to do Pawtitas, this could be the collar for you. It is made of nylon and also comes in a number of colors.
However, this one is not padded. It is comfortable but it couldn’t be as comfortable as our featured collar. Also, unlike our featured collar, the Pawtitas Reflective Dog Collar is made of reflective stitching all around the collar.

Dog Karma American Flag Collar
The Dog Karma American Flag Collar will go a long way in showing how patriotic your dog is. A very nice 4th of July gift this will make.
It comes in two designs; the regular American flag and the weathered one that looks like it’s been snowed on. The Dog Karma American Flag Collar costs a bit less than our featured collar. However, it is not padded.

Polyester Option
Yellow Dog Design Standard Collar
This one is made out of polyester. So you could consider it if nylon isn’t exactly your thing. However, what we really love about this collar is the different awesome designs it comes in.
You have ‘happy birthday’, ‘Easter’, ‘Christmas’ and even ‘breast cancer awareness’. You could have fun, show some spirit or raise awareness with your dog’s collar. Isn’t that cool?
