First and foremost, the Lovatic No Shock Anti-Bark Collar is for dogs who have barking issues. If your dog is an OK barker, he definitely does not need this collar.
In addition, Lovatic advises that you use this collar on small to medium dogs. By small to medium we are talking between 15 pounds and 110 pounds. Might also work on dogs that are up to 150 pounds in size but no larger else it won’t work.
However, we always advise that you get authorization from your vet before you use it, just so that you are double sure.
Features Of The Lovatic No Shock Anti-Bark Collar
1. Intelligent Chip
There is a chip (or a little CPU if you must) that is embedded in the collar. This chip is what is responsible for picking up and recognizing bark sounds and vibrations coming from your dog.
The chip is designed in such a way that the collar picks the bark sounds and vibrations coming from your dog alone and then sends the appropriate correction mode.
This selectiveness is particularly important as it means that your dog will only get corrected for their own bad behavior and not another dog’s. It also means that they won’t be corrected for normal bodily functions like yawning or panting. A big plus, if you ask us.
2. Transmitter
On the transmitter, you will find two buttons. The buttons are for navigating though the correction modes. One button increases the levels while the other decreases.
Now this Lovatic Collar has seven modes of correction. The first two modes are just about sound, no vibration and no shock whatsoever.
So when your dog barks, level one sound goes off which only lasts for as long as 1.5 seconds.
If your dog is still barking, level two sound kicks off, continuing until your dog stops barking or till the collar gets to level seven.
At level seven, the collar automatically resets itself and sleeps for one minute. If your dog is still barking after the one-minute sleep, the collar starts at level one and the cycle goes again.
Now, levels 3 to 7 use a combination of sound and vibration. In these modes, you can decide that you don’t want the collar to start at level one. The buttons on the remote help with that.
3. Vibration Electrodes
There are some pointy electronic looking things on this collar. Don’t get scared! They are not shock electrodes. They are actually only useful from level 3 to 7 because they are responsible for ending the vibrations.
You have to remember that the Lovatic Anti-Bark Collar is an electronic device. So you should neither be scared nor doubtful when you see electronic looking stuff.
And seriously, the diodes will not mistakenly administer shock because that is not how it was built.So chill! Lol.
Now, these vibration electrodes are supposed to be covered with some probes when your dog is wearing the collar. The Lovatic No Shock Anti-Bark Collar comes with two pairs of probes; a pair of short probes and a pair of long ones.
The long prongs are especially for dogs who are long furred so that the vibrations can get to the skin. Of course, Lovatic couldn’t be sure what kind of dog you have. So to be safe, it sent you on your way with two.
4. Battery
The Lovatic No Shock Anti-Bark Collar comes with one replaceable 6V battery. So when that one battery runs down, you’d have to make the replacement yourself.
It is advised that you check the battery weekly so that you are not caught unawares. There is an indicator light on the collar that should inform you if the battery is low or not.
The collar can be put off entirely when it is not in use. And there will definitely be times when it is not in use because ideally, your dog shouldn’t be wearing this for more than 10 hours at a time.
5. LED Clip
Amazingly, the Lovatic No Shock Anti-Bark Collar comes with a little thing that should help your dog be seen at night or in the dark. It is like a whole entity on its own.
For one, it is battery-powered and comes with its own clip. Also, it has three light intensity modes; steady glow, slow flash, and fast flash.
The LED clip is attachable. And another amazing thing is, though the collar itself is not waterproof, this little clip is.
6. Strap
The collar is made of durable nylon that should be long-lasting and at the same time soft. There is a plastic tri-glide that you’ll use in adjusting the collar. And at the end of the rope, we see a plastic buckle.
7. Training Manual
The Lovatic No Shock Anti-Bark Collar comes with a manual that details how to operate collar. The manual is written in English alone so only English readers can make use of it.

Yup! You shouldn’t have a problem with operating this one despite the sensitivity of the collar. All you need to figure out is the working of the buttons. And seeing as there are only two buttons on this thing, it should take you no time at all.
