The clasp on this one is a plastic black buckle. It is heavy-duty and should be difficult for a dog to break out of but easy for a human to pop open.
The D Ring is made of metal and is sewn right into the collar. That way, it remains where it is through all the pulling and the tugging. And it works.
The tri-glide is a plastic thing that is used to adjust the collar. Because of the material of the collar, we dare say that it glides along quite easily.
Now for the ID tag, there is a provision for it. On the collar, you will see a rubber rectangle-like ring. It is not affixed to the collar, it can be moved to any location. That is where your dog’s ID tag is supposed to go.
