This collar is originally meant for puppies. The idea of the collar is to put a sort of barrier around their necks so that they cannot slip through small spaces in your fence.

The Original Puppy Bumpers Collar comes in only two sizes. One should be good for dogs whose neck circumference measures as wide as 10 inches. While the other is good for dogs whose neck circumference measures between 10 and 13 inches.

The collar is made out of cotton. As for strength of the collar, it is as sturdy as cotton goes.

Now, the collar is designed in such a way that you don’t have to discard your dog’s regular collar for him to wear this one. In fact, you can thread a collar through the bumper.
There are loops on the bumper through which you can pass your dog’s regular collar and it stays there. This way, you could walk your dog even while he is wearing the bumper. Just attach his leash to his regular collar.
However, if you want to walk your dog while he is wearing the bumper you might get some very concerned questions from very concerned people. Just a heads up!
Anyway, the Original Puppy Bumpers Collar comes in only two colors: pink and blue. Both of them have cute polka dots designs, though.

This collar uses a small metal button which is not the strongest it can be. There is a significant possibility that it will break off.
However, if it doesn’t and for as long as it remains on, it works well and shouldn’t give you issues with snapping and unsnapping.
As for adjustment, the collar is basically the way it is. That is, it doesn’t have a mechanism for adjustment. The collar which you pass through the loops should be good enough to ensure that the bumper fits well.
