This collar is made of nylon. The material is actually pretty thick and so should be able to properly steer the wearer without succumbing under the pressure.

The buckle is not the most durable thing on this collar. But that is not saying that it is totally useless. You shouldn’t have any issues working it and it should serve its purpose for a decent period of time.
The leash ring, on the other hand, is metal and definitely what you’ll be hooking your dog’s leash to. The ring is strong enough and is positioned just below your dog’s jaw. So, the leash you decide to go with should be long enough to go round from under his jaw to the back of his neck and still be long enough to lead with.
Furthermore, seeing as this is an adjustable collar, it features a tri-glide. The tri-glide on this collar is made of metal that is durable enough and should glide along easily enough.

This collar is really not a difficult collar to use, especially if you’ve worked with one before. And even if you haven’t, you shouldn’t have issues working it.
All you really need to do is know that the part with the logo goes around the snout while the part with the buckle goes around the neck. With that information, you should be good.
