1. Material
The Royalwise Dog Raincoat is made with PVC coating and pure polyester material.
PVC is a water-resistant material. So, PVC + polyester is like double water-resistant.
Basically, if polyester would keep your dog dry, polyester with PVC coating would keep your dog dryer for longer.
However, these two materials are lightweight and that strikes us. Cos we’re like “if you want to have two materials, why not make the second one a little thicker?”
Because we think that it would have been a lot better if they used polyester for the shell and then a warmer material like fleece or cotton for the inside.
That way, the raincoat would be able to keep your pup warm when it’s raining and cold.
Though this mix of materials keeps your pup dryer for longer, a warmer material would keep him dry for a substantial amount of time, and keep him warm for that long, too.
2. Color
This dog raincoat is available in 3 colors; pink, yellow, and red.
Yellow is the most commonly used color in raincoats in general, including dog raincoats, and for a good reason; yellow is easy to see in the dark.
The other colors also work pretty well in the dark, too. But if you want something with the most visibility, we advise that you go for yellow.
However, we have to point out one flaw in this matter of visibility. The manufacturers of this product didn’t deem it fit to add reflective stripes to the dog raincoat.
Reflective stripes glow in the dark making it easier for you to see your pup in the dark. This is important because usually, when it rains it’s dark.
Apart from that, sometimes we don’t have time to walk our pup in the day and have to do it at night.
Without these reflective stripes it’ll be difficult for drivers to see the dog and that might lead to an accident.

1. Comes In Two Different Styles
One good thing about the Royalwise Dog Raincoat is that it comes in two different styles and 3 different colors, all at the same price.
This means that you get to choose the style you prefer without having to worry about any extra cost.
These two styles are not entirely different, tho. Just slight changes here and there. One has a pocket and the other doesn’t, one has drawstrings for the hoodie and the other doesn’t.
At the end of the day, both designs are equally functional and it depends on your preference.
2. Adjustability
Another good thing about this dog raincoat is that it is super adjustable. It is adjustable because of certain added features:
i. Velcro Closures On The Chest And Belly– This dog raincoat comes with two Velcro closures. One around the chest and one around the belly. These two closures make this dog raincoat easy to manipulate and adjust.
ii. Leg Straps– The Royalwise Dog Raincoat features two leg straps, one for each of his hind legs. This might not make it easy for you to put on your dog but you can rest assured that it will keep it in place.

1. The Hoodie Doesn’t Stay On
This is one problem we have with a lot of manufacturers. Why give us something we can’t make use of? No, really, why?
The purpose of this hoodie is to cover your pup’s head, right? But if it keeps falling off, how will your pup’s head be covered?
With this dog raincoat, your pup is more or less without a hoodie. His head would be completely exposed to the harshness of the rain.
2. Leg Bands Are Uncomfortable
Remember the leg bands that we spoke about earlier? Well, turns out they were meant to add value (that’s why we put it as a pro) but they’re not adding any value.
This is because a lot of customers complained that the bands are very uncomfortable for their dogs.
If the bands are uncomfortable for your pup, it means you cannot use them. This makes them useless and just pieces of cloth hanging down from the dog raincoat.
Remember, it is not good to force your dog to wear something he isn’t comfortable with.
3. The Legs Get Wet
Yeah, this dog raincoat doesn’t come with any sleeves. Because of that, your pup’s legs would get wet after the walk.
Note, we didn’t say his paw because only dog footwear can cover his paws, we said his legs.
