This backpack is made for small and medium dogs. If you have a large dog, sorry to say, but this backpack is not for him. The backpack will only fit dogs weighing between 15 and 19 pounds. If your dog is below or above the aforementioned weight, then he cannot use this backpack.

2. Removable Bags

To prevent you from that kind of stress, the manufacturers of this backpack made the bags detachable. On first wear, it’s simply a harness. However, you can attach the bags to this harness through Velcro straps on top, to make it a backpack.
One thing we have to point out though, is that Velcro is not very strong. So we don’t know how well this thing will hold up in the outdoors. Also, Velcro doesn’t work well with water so you might want to check the weather report before heading out.
The Velcro on top, rather than on the sides, makes it sturdier and less likely to fall off randomly. These bags contain large pockets with wide openings and zipper closures. Inside each pocket are interior mesh pockets and an elastic water bottle holder.
