To prevent yourself the hassle of trying to quickly remove everything once the rain starts, just get a backpack made with a water-resistant material.
There’s also a downside to having a backpack made of nylon, though.
Nylon is not the strongest material out there. With nylon, you are not guaranteed maximum durability.

2. Colors Available
This backpack is only available in two colors; sky blue and grey.
On one hand, sky blue is a really bright color that makes it easy for you to see your pooch when it’s dark.
On the other hand, grey is a really dark color that helps you keep a low-profile and not draw attention to you or your pooch.
But whether grey or blue, this backpack comes with reflective stripes. This helps to make your pup easier to see when it’s very dark.
3. Handle And Leash Attachment
The handle is there to control your dog when in close proximity, while the leash attachment allows you to hook a leash.
The leash in turn, helps you to control your dog from quite a distance.
The handle is top center, going vertically across the top of the backpack. It’s really small, making it nearly impossible to use it to carry your dog.
That is a good thing, because it’s never a good idea to carry your dog for a long time by his backpack’s handle.
However, you can use the handle in emergency situations, and for short periods.
The leash attachment is a metallic D-ring attached to the top of the backpack, at the tail end of the handle.
If you have a dog that requires a special type of harness, you might have to wear it under this backpack. But if not, he definitely can make do with this leash attachment.

The Lifeunion Tripper Dog Backpack is available in three sizes: medium, large, and extra-large.
To get the right size for your pooch, you’ll need to measure his girth.
Your dog’s girth, for those who don’t know, is the widest part around his chest.

1. High Visibility
Whichever color you decide to go for, you will be getting reflective stripes.
These stripes glow in the dark, which makes it easy for you to mark out your dog’s shape, thereby, keeping a good eye on him, always.
2. It’s Breathable
The underside of the backpack is lined with mesh material which makes it really breathable for your pooch.
If you’re going hiking on a hot summer day, this can be the difference between your dog feeling cool and overheating.
With this underside, air gets to your dog’s skin quite easily, keeping him cool.
However, on a very hot day, this might not be enough. You might have to add some frozen water bottles into the bags to cool him down.

1. Not Very Tough
Remember we said it earlier? A few people who used this backpack hardcore complained that after a lot of scratching, the backpack started to have little holes.
This is basically because it was made with nylon. You honestly don’t get complaints like this with a canvas made backpack.
2. Weird Shape
A lot of people seemed to find the shape of the backpack a bit weird.
Most people have said that they had to loosen the front strap almost all the way, and then tighten the underbelly strap all the way.
Lol, that’s actually weird, to be honest.
Many would think that the straps should be similarly tightened for perfect fit.
Not seeing the con yet? Well, you might get a good size according to your dog’s chest measurement, only to find that it fits there, but not his underbelly.
