Funny story, in researching this brand — Lalawow, we only found a YouTube channel, a Facebook page, but not a website. Well, from those social media pages, we were able to deduce a little about the brand which we will tell you now.
Lalawow is a pet-supplies brand that manufactures pet products mostly for dogs and cats. The brand does both the designing and the manufacturing of the products. The company has a philosophy which states and we quote “Cute, multifunctional, the best quality”.
The company is based in the United States of America. What we like about this brand is that it focuses on social media, which means that it’s a brand that listens to its customers.

Who Can Wear The Lalawow Dog Backpack?
Any type of dog can wear this backpack, however, it’s better suited to larger dogs with wider chests.
That said, if your dog is hairy, you might have to be careful with the buckles, so they don’t clip his hairs by mistake.

Features Of The Lalawow Dog Backpack
1. Material
The Lalawow Dog Backpack is made with cotton canvas. Cotton canvas is used in making things like sails, marquees, tents, and of course, backpacks.
It is an extremely durable material. It’s used to make tents, after all. The toughness of this material is what makes this backpack stand out. Your dog can roll over again and again, run through bushes, brush against trees and rocks, and this backpack will come out unscathed.
Another good thing about this material is that, unlike some nylon materials, it is completely odorless, making it very comfortable for both you and your dog.
And, yes! Cotton canvas is completely waterproof. Now, do not mistake this backpack for a raincoat simply because it is waterproof. It is a backpack, and as such, it doesn’t cover your dogs’ entire frame. However, the parts it covers will surely remain dry.

2. Color
This backpack is only available in one color, coffee brown. Well, we guess a lot of people choose beauty over functionality because if you prefer the latter, this backpack is really not it.
Yes, a coffee brown backpack looks really cool on your dogs’ back while you’re outdoors. However, it doesn’t provide you with any sort of lighting when it gets dark. Usually, dog backpacks are made with bright colors so that when it gets really dark, you’re still able to pick out your pooch.
And yeah, another thing. If the company wanted to use this color so bad, they should have, at least, added some reflective stripes. Reflective stripes will glow in the dark, allowing you whatever color with the backpack, but increased visibility nonetheless.
3. Size Available
Just like the color, there is only one size of this backpack available. However, because of good, adjustable straps, the one backpack can fit a very wide range of dog sizes.
However, this backpack will best fit your dog if his girth (the circumference of the widest part of his chest) is between 25.2 inches – 37 inches (64 centimeters, to 94 centimeters).

4. Straps, Handle, And Leash Attachment
We’re talking about these three together because they are peripherals.
So, first, there are three straps on this backpack. One goes around your dogs’ neck, while the other two go under his belly. The one thing we don’t like about these straps is that they are not padded which are likely to cause your dog irritations and chafing. Not to mention the fact that the lifting of the weight is made easier by padding the straps.
Talking about padding brings us to the next thing — the handle. This backpack comes with a handle on top, that is also not padded. We advise that you do not use this handle to lift your dog.
One, the manufacturer didn’t state that you can, and two, it doesn’t look strong enough. The handle can easily break, putting your dog in Great Dane(ger), get it? Lol.
The leash attachment is a basic metallic D-ring at the back of the raincoat.

Really good backpack. If they had added other color options for people who would like the increased visibility, it would have been really great. The material of the backpack is so good, it’s easy to maintain. You can hand-wash or you can machine wash. Pretty convenient. We like!
