As the name suggests, this crate was specifically made for travel but it can also double as a house crate.
However, it can only be one thing to you at a time. That is, if you’re getting this for travel, make it for travel alone. And if you’re using this as an everyday crate, stick to that alone. Never two at a time.
We don’t think we need to tell you that this crate is completely forbidden if your dog is a chewer or a Harry Houdini in the flesh.
It’s made of nylon so it won’t be able to stand up to the antics of such dogs. So, keep this for crate-trained pets only.
Alright, that said, this comes in two sizes only, the extra small and the extra-large. So, any dog in between these breeds has no crate for him here. Sorry.
Again, be very careful because there is no removable pan in here for accidents. There is a crate pad inside, though, with a washable cover. But if an accident happens there, we’re not very sure that pad will ever be the same again. Just saying…

Now, with this kind of material, any dog that hasn’t been properly trained will find it very easy to make their way out of this crate. But for a well-trained dog, this crate will be just fine.
As a reference point, a customer mentioned how he used this crate for his two large breeds – an Irish Wolfhound and a Mastiff.
They used the crate for travel, though. But because the dogs were well behaved, the crate has served for a long while now.

How sturdy is the frame?
Well, they aren’t exactly the sturdiest frames in the world. In fact, there was one isolated complaint of the frames breaking from a customer.
But it doesn’t seem to be a universal consensus. So, maybe something went wrong in that peculiar situation.
Our advice? Just be gentle. Maybe not like you’re handling an egg. But as gently as you’d handle a steel frame that you’ve heard rumors about it breaking before.

As usual, Go Pet Club makes this crate with mesh windows on all 3 sides and the last side is the door.
So, you don’t have to worry about ventilation. Your pup is going to get lots of it. And you know a well-ventilated crate is super crush (crucial in American teen) to your dog’s comfort.
4. Screen Mesh Door
This comes with two doors which makes the crate super convenient to access. The one door is in front of the crate while the other in on top.
A top door is always great because it makes it very convenient for you to place things into and bring things out of the crate.
No need to squat. Simply bend over and you can get your business done. And then your pet can use his front door.
Also, the doors are fitted with zippers. The zipper on the top door isn’t the problem since you’ll be the one using that. Now, the zipper at the front door, that’s where the challenge is. Dogs can find their way around that thing.
But if your dog is like either of the well-trained Irish Wolfhound and Mastiff in our afore-mentioned example, then this crate will work just fine. Otherwise, you’ll be in for it.
5. Removable Fleece Mat
If you’re familiar with Go Pet Club, you’ll come to expect certain things from their crates. One of such things is a complementary pad in the crate where your dog can conveniently relax or even catch some zzzs.
This mat is quite comfy and also comes with a removable and washable cover.
Now, we did mention earlier that if your dog happens to “go” on the mat, you can take off the cover and get it washed. But whether or not the pad it covers will ever be the same again is the million-dollar question.
We can’t say that we can guarantee that. So, keep that in mind.
6. Foldable To Compact Size
This is a travel crate, so, of course, it is foldable. And in traditional Go Pet Club style, this takes up significantly less space and weight when folded down. In fact, when you fold it down, it becomes 44% lighter and takes up 93% less space.
So, this is kinda your ultimate travel buddy. It will practically stay anywhere without any issues.

What Customers Are Saying About The Go Pet Club Travel Pet Crate
For the most part, the Go Pet Club Travel Pet Crate is a loved dog crate. It won’t do for both a travel crate and a regular dog crate and many customers agree. But it is relatively durable. And so far, you only keep well-behaved pets in here, it works.
Like the story we told you about the customer with the Irish Wolfhound and the Mastiff. These are really large breeds but they travel comfortably in this and the crate isn’t damaged yet. At least last time we checked it wasn’t.
But most customers will advise you though… the parts of this crate can easily get destroyed by a pet with many antics up its sleeve. So, best be careful.
Our Verdict
The Go Pet Club Travel Pet Crate makes a pretty decent travel crate. It will work if you need something to move your pup around with. But because it’s not so heavy-duty, we doubt this will last under heavy, prolonged usage.
Now about the den-like ambience you’re trying to create, we feel like the large mesh windows can kinda sabotage that plan because they make the crate more open than cozy.
To fix that, some customers tried to cover the crate with a blankie. That’s a pretty smart idea and we think it could work. You could try that, too.
But generally, though, this pet crate is great and you’ll especially love it because it folds really flat which makes it really great for travel.
