2. Sturdy Tubular Steel Frame
To support this crate and ensure that it is stable on the ground, the crate comes with a steel frame.
Naturally, steel is a tough metal and we see why Go Pet Club made the choice to go for steel frames.
But here’s the thing… Steel or not, you still have to be careful with this crate. It’s not farfetched for the frame to get broken with extreme (and sometimes, not so extreme) handling.
So yeah the frames keep your crate stable, but be careful. We’re not saying walk on eggshells (we hope that applies lol). Just be commonsensical about handling the crate.
3. Mesh Windows
For ventilation, this crate comes with mesh windows on all sides. We do not take this feature for granted because it is critical to your pet’s comfort and overall health while in his crate.
4. Screen Mesh Door
This crate comes with two doors; one on the top and the other in front. Of course, they close with zippers which we are very skeptical about.
But first, the doors. Two doors are very convenient and it’s not just about the number, we also love the placement.
With a door on top of the crate it becomes more convenient for you to carry out your routine chores. You’d have to agree that it’s a lot easier to take things out of the crate by reaching into the crate from the top, than doing that from the front door.
That said, the reason we have doors is not really for access as much as it is for protection. And that’s where we are a bit disappointed in this crate.
The zippers would put an escape artist in stitches. They simply aren’t a challenge. And again, you see why this is best for crate-trained, well-behaved pets, right?
5. Removable Fleece Mat
In its usual magnanimous character, Go Pet Club includes a complementary fleece mat in this crate. It is plush enough, you don’t need to change it. Plus, the cover of the mat is also removable, so, if it ever needs a wash, that can be easily done.
Now let’s talk about that off chance that your dog makes an accident on the mat. Yes, the cover is redeemable but how about the mat it covers? Well, it happens that the mat is actually made of plasticky thing.
Long and short, it is kinda hard and therefore easy to clean. So, should an accident happen, you should be safe. But then again, it also means that the crate isn’t exactly plush.
6. Foldable To Compact Size
Of course, this can be folded down or why else would we recommend it for travel? It also comes with a nice, convenient handle on top as well.
When folded, this takes up much less space and weighs far less than it initially weighed. And to make an already convenient crate even more convenient, this crate comes with two storage bags.
You’ll find those bags at the top of the crate. So, when your crate is folded, you can put them into the bag for safekeeping and porting. And if one gets lost, it’s no biggie. That’s why there are two bags.
7. Available Size And Colors
This particular crate comes in only one size, and that is 28 inches. So, you can see that it tends more towards a small to medium breed.
But there are two different styles to choose from though, even though Go Pet Club puts 3. The AC20 and the AC40 are practically the same thing for crying out loud! They are both blue in the exact same shade and pretty much everything else.
The AD28, though, is different as it comes in a grey color.

Much as people love the Go Pet Club Soft Crate for Pets, they can’t help but notice that this thing is light duty.
No doubt it is very convenient to carry around. It folds flat, and even comes with carrying cases. However, they soon came to find that the fact that it could be carried around didn’t necessarily mean that they should.
A customer who tried to use this beyond light usage, found that it began to show that it was taking a serious beating.
The zippers on the crate were another major concern for customers on the crate. Apparently, it looks as weak as we said it would be.
But besides that, the crate was loved. And dogs appear to love staying in this unit too. Customers would have been much cooler with this crate if only Go Pet Club had made it somewhat sturdier.
Our Verdict
We love Go Pet Club. Trust us, we do. But this crate is only a decent crate at best. And its weakest link is in the strength of its build.
The brand got every other aspect of this crate on lockdown quite alright. But this crate isn’t strong, and we don’t see this standing up to even regular usage for even a year without showing some strain.
All the same, we cannot overlook all the convenience and thoughtful features that this crate brings. Two carrying cases, side pockets, a convenient handle and a top door.
However, it would have been a perfect crate for us if only the crate were sturdier. It still wouldn’t do for chewers but at least it would be more durable.
