1. Material
The majority of this backpack is made with ripstop material. Ripstop fabric refers to woven fabric, most times, made with nylon. The difference between ripstop and normal nylon is the way it is woven. With ripstop, special reinforcements are added, which makes the material resistant to ripping and tearing.
Also, because it’s made from nylon, this material is water-resistant. Who says you have to hide under a rock till it stops raining? You don’t have to, because with this, whatever you put in the bag remains dry.
Don’t expect that it will keep your dog dry though, remember that it’s not covering your dogs’ entire frame.
2. Colors Available
This backpack is available in three different color combinations: black, red, and red/gray. Well, we like this because it’s a mixture of colors, giving you the power of choice.

3. Waterproof Zippers

4. Handle And Straps
The backpack comes with one handle on top. The handle is properly padded, to make it light on your palm when you’re using it. We know that with handles like this, there is the temptation to just carry your dog all the way, but please don’t give in to that temptation.
Your dogs’ ribcage isn’t built to carry that much pressure for a long time. So, don’t risk his health. Aside from that, there is also the risk that the handle could break. If it breaks and you’re carrying your dog while mountain climbing, well, picture the rest.
Away from the handle, the backpack comes with two straps. The first strap is a cross-chest strap. It comes down from your dogs’ shoulders and joins at the chest. It then goes vertically along his chest, splits into two again, and joins both sides at the end of his ribcage.

Also, just to slap on some extra-visibility, the manufacturers added some reflective stripes. Reflective stripes are pieces of fabric that glow in the dark. With these straps, you can go out with your dog in pitch darkness and still pick out his shape quite easily.

What Do People Think?
Well, people who got this backpack for mild walks and day journeys absolutely loved it. The backpack held up well, the bags are spacious, color is great. Overall, it worked really well!

We think it’s a pretty decent backpack. However, because of the price, we don’t really like it that much. You can comfortably get a decent backpack, as good as this one, for about half the price. On the flip side, you can add a few bucks and get a much better backpack.
